JULY 2006 DUMPSITE MINISTRY REPORT
“AND ALL THESE BLESSINGS SHALL COME UPON THEE AND OVERTAKE THEE… Deut. 28:2”
“OBEDIENCE BRINGS BLESSINGS“
These past month has been a shaky moment for the ministry, but in spite of all the troubles the enemy is trying to do we still continue to obey what the Lord is saying in our heart and we did not allow Satan to interrupt us. In doing so the Lord blesses the dumpsite ministry. Truly, when we obey the Lord He will bless us…PRAISE GOD!!!
This month is a great year for our dumpsite ministry as our Dumpsite Church (Life Center Community Dumpsite) celebrated its first year church anniversary with its theme “God’s great circle of Love”… indeed God continue and abundantly display His love over this area no matter what the enemy tries to do in order to cause confusion and distraction with our work here at the dumpsite… God’s blessing continue to overtake us here at the dumpsite… we are seeing more families open their homes for bible studies and more people feel hunger and thirst for the word of God. We are believing for a more fruitful and victorious years to come…
DUMPSITE CHILDREN CHURCH:
We praised God for blessing the children church. The fellowship is progressing and so were the attendance. Children come on time and were very eager to listen to the word of God and join us in singing God’s songs. You will be blessed when they give their testimonies to God of what the Lord is doing in their lives. Some will thank God that even if their parents are just scavenger still they are able to go to school, some thanked Him because they belong to the sponsorship program. We also encourage them to bring bible so that they can be able to read it themselves when Pastor Jun or Pastor Melchor share the word of God. Last July 29 since they are many already we divided them into two. The kids ages 9 yrs. Old and below after the testimony and praise and worship will be outside the church and the bible school students will be the one to teach verses from the bible and stories also while the kids ages 10 yrs. Old above were being shared by Pastor Jun or Pastor Melchor. We give God all the glory and honor for everything that He has done.
DUMPSITE DAYCARE CENTER REPORT: “ THEY LEARN TO LOVE SCHOOL ”
This month is a wonderful month for the school although the weather is not good always because of the rain but still the students are so eager to go to school. We are thankful to the Lord because these students love school. Last July 28 we joined in participating the nationwide celebration of the nutrition month which has the motto “TO EAT RIGHT SO THAT YOU WILL BECOME BRIGHT “. We celebrate it by having a culminating program in our school. We let each students bring one fruit. Some kids sung and some dance and then all of them sang a folk song about a small hut surrounded by lots of vegetables, then after the program we prepared a complete meal for them. We really praise God for the blessing that He has done in the daycare school and for the success of the program.
SPONSORED STUDENT REPORT: “ HE ALWAYS MEET THEIR NEEDS ”
God’s grace to the sponsored kids is always abounding. He always meets their needs. We praise God for the completion of their school uniforms, school supplies and their school fees and requirements for this month. The sponsored kids are actively participating in the children church during Saturday. We also received some good feedbacks from their respective schools. We also thank God for the love and support we received from people who partner with us in educating these children. Their families are also starting to see a glimpse of hope that their family will have a better future because of the success of their kids and because of giving their lives to Christ. Please continue to bring them to your prayers.
DUMPSITE FEEDING MINISTRY: “ THEY HELP AS AN EXPRESSION OF THEIR LOVE ”
The feeding program is always doing well by the grace of God. The sponsored students still continue to help us during feeding time and not only that because they also wash the dishes after the feeding. It’s really a big help for us and one good thing that we can praise God for it is while they are doing it they doing it with a smile in their face. For so many years of doing this ministry we can really say that it pays to be patient and faithful. As of now as the number of kids increases God also gave us people and kids to help and assist us in doing this. The kids also feel encourage because they understand that they are not doing this because they are oblige but they’re doing this for the glory of God and their expression of how thankful they are to Jesus.
DUMPSITE CHURCH UPDATES: “ANOTHER YEAR OF GOD’S FAVOR ”
Month of July is a month full of memories at the dumpsite church because of the 1st year anniversary celebration. Many people came and God‘s blessing is overflowing. The church members were so generous in giving and bringing their foods to the church. The mother church in Tumulak also joined in celebrating by blessing it with one Lechon (roasted pig) and some other foods. The daycare students presented a song and some of the high school sponsored students gave their special song number to the Lord and some give a dance number. So, everyone was blessed and everyone went home full of joy and spiritual blessing and full in their stomach. It’s like having a fiesta celebration…. it’s like a feast of thanksgiving.
PIGLET DISPERSAL PROGRAM: " GOD BLESSES THE WORK OF THEIR HANDS ”
This month God is blessing more in this ministry. We are able to give 12 piglets to the poor and oppressed people living here. They are already 8 families who are enjoying the fruits of their labor as the result of caring the piglets. We praise God that through these project we are not only helping them spiritually but also financially and gradually we are able to open their mind and eyes that God has so many ways on how to live a decent life by not only working inside the dumpsite. Soon this project by His grace would give much impact to the community. We praise God that God blesses the small beginnings and multiply them.
GOD IS INDEED A GOD OF BLESSING… HE IS FAITHFUL TO HIS PROMISES AND IN BLESSING HIS BELOVED CHILDREN… THANK YOU ALSO TO ALL WHO SUPPORT AND PARTNERED WITH US IN THIS MINISTRY… MAY THE LORD RICHLY BLESS EACH AND EVERY ONE OF US…
