WHAT IS
THE NURTURE NETWORK?
The
Nurture Network has been established
with
two primary goals in mind:
a)
to provide an online community of spiritual fellowship, nurture
and
encouragement, for newly emerging
independent
Christian
ministries;
AND
b)
to provide an online source of fellowship, encouragement and
spiritual
support for established ministries
seeking to build
mutually
supportive relationships with others in the Body of Christ;
WHY A NEED FOR THE NURTURE
NETWORK?
In
these crucial and exceptional days as
God
pours out His Spirit across the earth, many diverse, new ministries
are
being called forth to assist with the harvest
and
the equipping of the last-days Bride.
Often
these newly emerging ministries find themselves ministering
in
an environment of isolation and loneliness,
at
times feeling like spiritual "orphans"
within
the Body of Christ.
Their
heartcry is for spiritual mothers and fathers, sisters and brothers,
with
whom they can fellowship, grow, pray and seek counsel when
necessary.
Writing
to the young church in Thessalonica, the apostle Paul
compared
himself to a nurturing mother who cherishes her children
and
pours out her life for them.
Likewise,
through The Nurture Network, we seek to make available
a
spiritual shelter where healthy relationships within the Body
are
built and fostered
within
a supportive and nurturing atmosphere.
VISION OF THE NURTURE NETWORK
Our vision and prayer for The Nurture
Network is:
to provide a network community based
on
relationship rather than membership;
to grow together towards the fullness
of the stature of Christ,
Forbearing one another in love,
bonded together by the Spirit.
to recognise and value servanthood to the Lord and to
His Body
as the foundation of all Christ-centred
ministry;
to encourage and
emphasise growth in the knowledge
of Christ as the source of effective
ministry;
to make the
giftings and spiritual resources of
Great South Land Ministries available
to network
members in the timing and wisdom of
the Holy Spirit.

*The Network is open
to individuals and/or organisations
involved in Christian ministry whose
doctrinal beliefs
align with our Statement of Faith.
