DECLARATION OF WAR

I serve notice to the spirit of antichrist, religious strongholds and rulers, principalities and powers.

I prophesy to you that there is a war declared against you.

There is a war that will be fought to the death - YOUR death. You can march around us, and you can mock us, but you will not encompass us because HE has us surrounded!

You can shake your heads and you can wag your fingers, and we will worship Him. And you can accuse us and you can condemn us, and we WILL worship Him. And you can shut us out of your churches and you can slander our names, and we will STILL worship Him.

And you can drag us before the courts and you can have us beaten, you can have us jailed, and we will STILL worship Him. And you can scourge us and you can kill us, and we WILL WORSHIP HIM!

Because we are the overcomers and we are coming over you!

We have made up our minds that we are either living for Him or we're dying for Him. And there is no more "in between" because Jesus the overcomer is spewing it out of His mouth.

And you will not stop us and you cannot defeat us, because if you kill us, our Captain, Jesus, will raise up more of us.

Because He's the resurrection and the life, and He's the firstborn from the dead, and He's the Overcomer of overcomers, and at His name you WILL bow.

And He will establish His kingdom, and His army is coming, and coming and coming! Death has no sting for them and the grave can't hold them!

So I put you on notice. WAR is declared and we will take no prisoners, says the Lord!

PARABLE AND WORD FOR NEW ZEALAND

Two weeks before our Prophetic Intercession School in Auckland, I had a prophetic dream in which a group of men from a church approached me and asked me where was the "chickenfeed". I looked down on the ground and saw plastic bags full of pellets (which are sometimes used to feed chickens), which I had not been aware of previously. I told the men to take all the pellets, saying I had no need for them.

I had been waiting on the Lord for understanding of this dream, and a few days before travelling to New Zealand, He began to speak into my spirit concerning it. He asked me if I knew the difference between chickens and sheep. I had to admit I had never thought about it before. "No, Lord, tell me the difference between chickens and sheep." Then He began to release into my spirit the following parable, followed by a word for the nation of New Zealand.

Parable of the Sheep and the Chickens.

Chickens are often hand fed by man (hence the bags of chickenfeed).

Sheep on the other hand are fed directly by God through the grass of the field.

When danger, such as a fox or other predator approaches, chickens scatter. They are individuals.

Sheep group together and close ranks when danger approaches. They have a corporate mentality.

Chickens have wings, but they can't fly very high. They make a lot of noise but they don't go anywhere. Chickens produce eggs. Eggs are good, but eggs speak of life that has never reached maturity.

Sheep produce wool. Wool is a unique fabric, created by God to provide warmth and comfort and covering to mankind. It is not a man-made synthetic, and there is no other fibre like it.

Finally, the word "chicken" in our culture - is it not synonymous with fear and cowardice? We call people chicken, meaning cowardly, without backbone. It is an insult to call somebody a chicken.

Sheep on the other hand, are symbolic in our culture of those who follow obediently and without question. In the world that is considered the height of stupidity. Sheep are known as the most stupid animals on earth in my country.

WORD FOR NEW ZEALAND.

The Lord says He is a shepherd, not a chicken farmer. It is time for His people to choose whether they would be chickens or whether they would be sheep.

For I am the Good Shepherd who loves and cares for His sheep, says the Lord. I alone will provide the covering My people need. New Zealand has been known as the land of the long white cloud, but I desire to change your name New Zealand, to The Land of the Glory Cloud. Just as you see the sun rise first, I place before you an opportunity this day to see My Glory first - as a nation.

Now hear Me, says the Lord, hear Me, because - yes - there are pockets of My glory - yes, I am pouring out My glory across the earth through chosen vessels, whom I have chosen to be used in this way. But I am talking here about your NATION! I desire to cover your nation with a Cloud of Glory, and I place before you an opportunity. I desire to cover the entire nation with My Glory from one end to the other. But the house must be put in order, New Zealand. Are you prepared to put your house in order? For I will visit you, says the Lord. I have heard your cries and I have remembered you. But no flesh will glory in my presence, and I will not have the flesh of man ruling My house.

So I bring you a warning as well as a promise. That with glory comes holiness, and I desire to make My people in New Zealand a holy people. And I will even deal with your independence, New Zealand. You have taken pride in your remoteness and your isolation and I will make you a dependent people again, and your dependence shall be on Me alone, says the Lord. For I am jealous over you and I grieve at how far you have wandered from Me. And I will turn your isolation and your independence away from you, and cause you to turn to Me again in utter dependence.

So choose - will you be as chickens or will you be as sheep? What the world calls foolish, what the world calls weak, what the world calls stupid is NOT My call, says the Lord. My call is that the weak are Mine. My call is that the foolish are Mine. And My call is that those who are perceived as stupid are wise. The sheep are dependent on the Shepherd and the Good Shepherd cares for His sheep. I am your Shepherd, New Zealand. I alone am your Shepherd and would cover you with the Cloud of My Glory.

We have some work to do together, and each one will pass under the Shepherd's rod. But My grace is sufficient, He says. My grace is sufficient. So choose Me - for I have chosen you! I have even set you as a jewel in the southern sea, and if you will learn the ways of holiness before Me, many will come from the corners of the earth to see My Glory. And those who come by air will pass through the Cloud of Glory, and those who come by sea will step into the Cloud of Glory, for My Cloud will be a strong and trustworthy covering over the nation.

But there is a cost - and the cost is a return to holiness and to fearing Me, says the Lord. So return to Me with your whole heart, New Zealand, and see if I will not show you My Glory!

DREAM AND VISION CONCERNING AFRICA

This dream and following vision were received in the early hours of Friday, 25th May, 2001, in Nairobi, Kenya, on my first night in Africa at the commencement of a ministry trip to Burundi.

DREAM:

My friend and I and a group of Africans were taken by an African leader to a rural area, to a village, where we were all going to run an evangelistic outreach. When we arrived at the designated place, we found a field and started setting up for the outreach. Someone came and told us that there were rebels in the village school which was across the road from us, and they were holding the children hostage. I went over to the school with a group of young children. I hid in the shadows and had a look. I could see men with guns pointed at some children. Then the young children with me crept around the rebels and overpowered them. Each child took one man, while I stayed back in the shadows watching. One little boy ran back to me and told me the rebel he had caught was too big for him and he was scared of him. I went with him and showed him how to tie the rebel up and secure him. The children took the rebels captive and freed the other children. Then a mother came up to me and she was so full of joy, and started telling me how long she had been waiting for this to happen. She was talking about her little boy who was a leader among the children and who she had wanted to see made free. I then returned with the children back to the outreach sight, but I was told the supplies and equipment that were needed hadn't arrived as expected, and we would have to wait indefinitely until they came. We were so ready to preach the gospel, especially the children. We all felt we were on fire and just wanted to get the gospel out. We sat down on the grass to wait for the supply trucks, feeling disappointed and frustrated. END OF DREAM

Immediately after this I was wide awake and I heard the Lord speaking clearly to me. This is what He said: "Africa has become known as a land where children have become soldiers. I am going to turn that around and the children are going to be MY soldiers, and I am going to establish My OWN liberation army with them."

He then immediately showed me a vision.

I saw black African children, both boys and girls, coming out of the African bush. They were in formation, marching in lines, and each one was dressed in white linen pants and top. They were singing and dancing with abandonment and making a lot of noise. Many of the children were under 12 years old. At the front of the army were boys with guns. Behind these ones were some children holding up a large banner which read "Jesus Christ is Lord of Africa." Behind these ones there were other children with large swords in their hands, and they waved them above their heads as they danced and sang.

The army came out of the bush and danced into an African village. Even though I say they danced, they kept formation as they danced. It was like a dancing march. As they entered the village, the boys at the front with guns trained their gun sites on the village people and started shooting at them. I saw heart shaped bullets come out of the guns and enter the village people right through their hearts. The people who were shot spattered with blood. But the Holy Spirit spoke and said "This is not the blood of the people, but the Blood of the Lamb". Each bullet fired hit its mark, none missing. Then the ones with swords, who had stood back and waited for this to happen, came forward. They stood in front of the villagers, and lifted their swords in front of their own faces. Then each child kissed their own sword with their lips. As they did so, multitudes of small swords came out of their mouths and went straight into the hearts of the village people, right where the bullets had penetrated.

I heard a Voice say of these ones "They overcame him by the Blood of the Lamb, the word of their testimony, and they loved not their lives unto death." END OF VISION

INTERPRETATION: I believe the first child soldiers with the guns were child evangelists and that the Lord is going to use them to evangelise many of the children of Africa, as well as adults. I believe the ones with the swords were child teachers who will come in and teach the word. I believe they will be willing to lay down their lives for the word of the gospel.

I asked the Lord about the dream and He said that in the past the western church has sent labourers to Africa to tell the African churches how to do things, but that it is time for the African churches to take responsibility for the African nations. He said they have the labourers, but are waiting for resources from the west, which are not coming to the extent they are needed, because the western church is so preoccupied with itself. He said to tell them in the west to send the resources the African churches need to spread the gospel, because the harvest is extremely ripe.
