A WORD FOR THE CHURCH

The Pharisees asked Jesus, `When will the kingdom of God come?' He answered them, `You cannot see the kingdom of God when it comes. People will not be able to say, "Look, here it is!" or "There it is! That is because the kingdom of God is inside you.' Luke 17:20-21 (W.E. New Testament)

This is a time to be still before Me. This is a time like none this generation has witnessed. What shall I liken this time to? It is like the days of Elijah when all Israel assembled before me on the mountain, and I contended with the prophets of Baal. In that day all Israel knew that I AM God, did they not? And also these days are like the days of Peter, James and John, who gathered before me on the mountaintop. My Son was revealed before their faces in the glory of My Kingdom. Were not Peter, James and John made silent before Me? And didn't they leave the mountaintop with a fear of Me they had not previously walked in? Did they not also know I AM God? Did they not know My Son and I are One?

I tell you this time is like that time, but greater than that. This is a time when even the groaning of My creation has hushed. All creation knows what is about to break forth. For My Kingdom is coming on the earth with power and authority. My Kingdom will be breaking through where and when you least expect it. And there shall be the conflict of spiritual powers beyond anything my people have yet known. There shall be clashes between My Kingdom and the kingdom of darkness that shall amaze and disturb those who are not prepared. I tell you there are those in my church who are not ready for the breakthrough of My Kingdom, yet nevertheless it shall not be held back.

Still yourselves before me, therefore. This is a time to know that I AM God alone. This is not a time for ceaseless activity and chatter. This is not a time to say "all things continue as they were." This is a time of the clash of kingdoms and unending change. This is a time when I shall reveal who is for Me, and who is against Me. Peter, James and John did not know what they were about to witness when they were led up the mountain by My Son. Neither do you know what you are about to witness, so watch and learn.

Peter thought he knew, but he was silenced. Peter, called to shepherd My sheep, was silenced. John and James, Sons of Thunder, were silenced. John, the one they call "revelator", knew not to speak. James, apostle upon whom I placed grace, wisdom and leadership, was wise to be silent before Me. Is this not also a time when the shepherds should contain their hearts silently before me? Is this not a time when the prophets should refrain their mouths? Is this not a time when those who are wise will be still before Me?

Be still, I say, and hear what the Spirit is saying to the church. Be still and allow Him to show you the I AM. Be still! Despite the turmoil that surrounds you, there is a place of stillness before Me, and now is the time for you to enter that place, that I might complete your preparation for what I am about to do.

For there will be many things for you to do and many ways in which I will work through you. A time of unprecedented Kingdom activity is almost upon you. This is the moment of stillness before I break forth.

The Kingdom is at hand - be still!

WORD TO THE AUSTRALIAN CHURCH ,

May 2003

For those on our list who are not aware of recent events in Australia, this word deals with the often hidden sin of child sexual abuse in the church, and attempts by both leadership and laity to cover or deny that sin at the expense of those who have been its innocent victims. In using the term "church", I am including the Lord's people in every denomination or persuasion.

WORD TO THE AUSTRALIAN CHURCH,

This is what the Lord says to the church of His Name in Australia:

My servant David lusted after that which was forbidden and in his heart was deceived to believe that I would wink at his sin. When he knew he had sinned he added weight to his sinfulness by attempting to cover over that which had been done. Though I loved him, I dealt severely with him and he wept bitter tears of repentance and shame.

My servants Ananias and Sapphira made a grave error and insulted My Spirit of grace. They lied to My Holy Spirit and sought to cover their sin by a charitable deed. My judgment was swift as an example. Great fear of Me came upon My people causing them to walk humbly before Me in holiness. This was My grace upon them to strengthen them to endure the persecution about to come to them.

Are you different to My servant David? Do you worship a different God to the believers Ananias and Sapphira? Am I a respecter of persons? Search your hearts and if indeed My Spirit dwells within you, you shall surely find the answers.

How long would you have Me turn My eyes away from your hidden sin? How long would you have Me block my nostrils from the stench rising up from your hidden places? Your fine robes and majestic buildings will not cover your nakedness. Your charitable works will not appease Me or atone for the grief I will no longer hold back.

Weep, weep for the children! Weep, weep for the innocents! Rend your fine garments and fall on your face, My church. Clothe yourself in sackcloth and ashes and cry to Me for deliverance. Though you seek to distract Me with your charitable works, your loud and lofty praises and even your signs and wonders, the cries of the innocent ring in My ears above all your proud offerings.

The very ones you have despised are the ones I would gather in My arms to bless and heal and show My face to. Did I not rebuke even the twelve because they sought to stand between Me and the children? How is it that you thought you could do the same and not taste My rod? I said let the little children come to Me, yet you have defiled My Holy Name before their faces and placed your sin between them and Me. And when I would lift their burden and call them to My rest, you deny their pain to save your own honour.

Should I remain silent when such things are done in My Name? Should I not defend My Name and stand up for the oppressed? Should I not deal justly with such abominations even among My own? And should I not have proclaimed from the housetops that which has been whispered in the inner rooms?

You say "grace and mercy, Lord". But I say to you that judgment has begun in My house! You cover yourselves with false robes of holiness. But I say to you I see whitewashed tombs full of dead men's bones and all uncleaness. You say you are rich and have need of nothing. But I say to you the world shall see your shame. Because you have winked at the shame inflicted on others who came to you seeking refuge and safety, so shall your own robes be lifted up above your heads and the world will see your shame and shake their heads at you, and you shall be brought low until you cry out in repentance to Me, says the Lord.

And even then, if you will weep bitterly before Me and seek no longer to hide or belittle that which you have allowed in My Holy Name - even then I will stretch out My arms to you and show You My great love and My tender grace.

For I the Lord am a Holy God, and I will have for Myself a holy people who walk in the fear of My Name, or they will not walk in My Name at all.

"For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known. Therefore whatever you have spoken in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have spoken in the ear in inner rooms will be proclaimed on the housetops." (Luke 12:2,3)
